Bridal Alterations
General Alterations
Yes. Consultations are required for wedding dress alterations so we can review your gown in person, discuss what needs to be done, and allow enough time for your fitting and questions.
For wedding dress alterations, estimates require an in-person consultation, as pricing depends on the gown, alterations needed, and overall complexity.
We recommend scheduling your first appointment about 3-4 months before your wedding date. This allows time for fittings and alterations before your event. Our schedule fills quickly, especially during wedding season.
If less than 2 months remain before the wedding, rush services may be available. Rush fees range from 25% to 100% of the total alteration cost, depending on the complexity of the alterations and timeline required.
Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible with your wedding date and the alterations you need. We’ll let you know if we can accommodate the timeline and whether a rush fee would apply.
Most brides require approximately 4-6 fittings, depending on the gown, alterations needed, and any changes that may occur throughout the alteration process.
Please bring the actual shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day. Your wedding shoes are important for the hem, so if you do not have them yet, please contact us before your appointment so we can help you decide the best timing.
If you plan to wear shapewear, special undergarments, or accessories that may affect the fit of your gown, we recommend bringing those as well.
We recommend arriving without makeup, self-tanner, body lotion, oils, or perfume whenever possible. These products can transfer onto your gown during fittings and may cause stains or discoloration. Unfortunately, some stains cannot be completely removed.
If you need to wear makeup, please keep it minimal and avoid products that may come into direct contact with your dress. This helps protect your gown and ensures the best possible fitting experience.
